All you have to do to assemble this is attach the legs with 8 screws. DON'T try to lift it out of the box...instead, open one side, turn the box upside down on that open side, and lift up the box. Simple. You'll discover that the extension device is extremely easy to use. Just pull the 2 ends apart, and the extension pops up into place. Push it back together, and the extension disappears. If only all furniture was designed this exquisitely. The wood itself looks great. at this price, you can't expect perfection, and you probably won't get it.

The wood is beautiful. It was easy to put together. However in the Middle where the two pieces meet it is not even one part is rounded and the other side is not. But I can overlook it.

I have a love hate relationship with this table. On the one hand I love the size, style, color, and ease if operation. On the other hand I absolutely can't stand that you can't lock the table top pieces together. So within a short amount of time from when it delivered a gap developed in between the leaves and it annoys me. The gap is bigger when the table is set for 4. Also it really wouldn't be a great table for more than 6. I think 8 is really pushing it. It also is soft and scratches easily. And you have to buy the chairs separately. So it becomes kind of expensive given it's limitations BUT that being said it's the best I could find for the size, look and price point.

This table is very nice and I am impressed with the finish on the wood. Only needed to bolt the legs on and it was ready to go. I am having a little difficulty with the lock mechanism to allow the leaf to pop up but suspect that is just a learning thing on my part. It's fairly heavy too so won't be sliding around on my vinyl plank floor. Highly recommend!!!

Table was very easy to assemble and sturdy. It looks exactly as it does in the photo as well. It came with the upper portion in one peice and the four legs packaged around. The legs are held on by 4 large screws and two washers each. This is perfect for a family of 6.
